Due to infighting BJP ministers didn't press for CBI probe
3/9/2018 11:37:55 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 9: It is result of the infighting within the party that BJP ministers during their meeting with Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti had not effectively raise the demand of handing over Rasana case to the CBI. Instead of pressing for this demand, BJP ministers wasted most of the time in buttering their coalition partner.
Credible sources said that most of the BJP ministers are unconcerned about alleged torture and harassment of the locals of Hiranagar where the gruesome incident was happened. They observed that only local MLAs would face anger of the people in case police continued to torture the locals so they shown little concern in pressing the Chief Minister in handing over this case to CBI.
Credible sources said that residents of Samba, Hiranagar and Kathua assembly constituencies are on the roads against alleged brutalities of crime branch on the locals in the name of investigation so BJP ministers thought that there respective constituencies are safe so they should take confrontation with Chief Minister or any other PDP ministers on this issue that is reason of their attitude in Thursday meeting with Chief Minister.
Credible sources said that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and other PDP ministers present in Thursday meeting realized that there is no unity among BJP ministers on CBI demand so they took benefit of their division and ruled out handing over case to the CBI. This is not the first time, since formation of this coalition, PDP leadership is taking benefits of infighting among BJP ministers who are more concerned about transfers and postings instead of pursuing pro-Jammu agenda.
