DSE misuses his powers, attaches wife of his personal officer
6/13/2018 11:12:22 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, June 13: Making mockery of the Education system in J&K, the Director School Education (DSE)- has allegedly transferred wife of his Personal Officer- to Jammu from Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Pallan in Kathua where she did not join on her first appointment.
Taking a cue from forest guard turned PRO to the then Education Minister and former Deputy Chief Minister, under trial Kewal Kumar, the Director School Education has violated all rules of postings of first appointments in government departments.
Kuldeep Singh-Ex Sarpanch of Pallan village in district Kathua has expressed his resentment over the DSEJ "misusing" his official position. He has written to the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti through CM's Grievances Cell.
He said that this session, the students of Sociology in Government Higher Secondary School Pallan in Kathua would have to appear in Class 11th and Class 12th exams without studying the subject as the appointed lecturer in the school failed to joined and was attached to the Directorate of the School Education.
Senior officer in the government while talking to Early Times and pleading anonymity alleged that every new appointee has to join on vacant position and attachments or transfers are never made in case of new appointees.
If sources are to be believed, the Director School Education (DSE) has attached wife of his PO to his own office, where already twenty five teachers are attached, thus depriving the students of Government Higher Secondary School of a teacher of Sociology subject.
Wife of Personal Officer to Director School Education (DSE) was selected as lecturer in Sociology in December 2017 and adjusted at GHSS Pallan Kathua in February 2018, where she did not join and now after four months she has been attached to Directorate of school Education, whereas all attachments are banned by government.
