Killing of Parihar brothers: Busy in power politics BJP leadership fails to pursue investigation
12/4/2018 11:18:50 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 4: Following infighting and personal interests of some senior BJP leaders, the party has shamelessly abandoned killings of party/s senior leader Anil Parihar and his elder brother Ajeet Parihar. Instead of seriously following case of the killings of Parihar brothers, BJP leadership has conducted a formality by sending senior leaders including Union Minister, J P Nadda and after that party leadership abandoned the family as well as the case due to some vested interests of party leadership.
Credible sources said that it was all due casual approach of state BJP leadership that administration was also not taking seriously the case and investigation in the suspected terror attack has been going in snail's pace. Instead of forcibly taking up this case with the administration most of the BJP leaders are worried about their own petty personal agenda.
Senior BJP leader Anil Parihar and his brother Ajit Parihar were shot dead by unknown gunmen at Kishtwar town on November 1 evening. Following tension in the town, curfew has been imposed in Kishtwar town after killing of BJP leader and his brother. Members of the minority community came on streets at Bhaderwah town to lodge protest against killing of BJP leader. The curfew was continued for nearly a week and later lifted following improvement in the situation.
The case was handed over to the NIA last week but no progress has been made so far in this case.
Anil Parihar and his brother were returning from their shop when they were shot at by some unknown persons from point blank range at Tappal Gali near Veterinary Hospital of Kishtwar town. Parihar brothers were taken to the hospital where doctors pronounced them brought dead.
Anil Parihar, a prominent leader of J&K BJP was in the forefront when militancy was on its peak in early 1990s and he was on the hit list of the terrorists.
