25 fresh positive cases, 428 active positive cases, 44 recovered and 18 deaths occurred so far in north Kashmir

BARAMULLA, June 18: Out of 149, twenty five fresh positive cases were reported, there are 428 active positive cases, 1224 are cumulative, 44 recovered and 18 deaths have occurred so far in north Kashmir till date.
According to the district wise positive cases as on June 18, 2020, In Baramulla district, Twenty fresh positive cases were reported today, total no of cumulative cases are 552, active positive cases are 277, and 40 have recovered as on date and 12 deaths have occurred so far in this district.
In Kupwara district, 02 fresh positive cases have been reported today, 421 are cumulative cases, 106 are active positive cases, 02 have recovered as on date, and 05 deaths have occurred so far.
In Bandipora district, 03 fresh positive cases were reported today, whereas 251 are cumulative cases, 45 are active positive, 02 have recovered as on date and 01 death have occurred so far.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla today inspected various private clinics and nursing homes functioning in Sopore town and took review of the implementation of SOPs and guidelines that have been issued in wake of administration’s decision of unlocking COVID-19 lockdown.
On the occasion, DC took a detailed appraisal of the situation during which he issued a slew of directions meant to avert any kind of eventuality that may arise due to COVID-19 spread.
