RAMBAN, Mar 31: District Administration, Ramban organized weekly Block Diwas meetings at five designated places of different Blocks of district to improve quality of public service delivery system, besides assessing developmental needs of the respective areas.
During the Block Diwas, the officers resolved several local issues raised by the public pertaining to their departments.
Block Diwas events were held at Sangaldan, Banihal, Ukhral, Batote and Ramban, where public representatives, PRIs and general masses highlighted their issues for which concerned officers assured quick action.
Several issues including water supply, macadamization and renovation of roads, upgradation of schools, better health services and other related issues were projected during the programmes. The concerned officers assured to take up all the issues with higher authorities.
Meanwhile, a number of Revenue documents and other Government services were provided to the general public. |
