NHPC observes 'Vigilance Awareness Week 2022'

NEW DELHI, Nov 1: NHPC Limited, India's premier hydropower company commenced the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 themed 'Corruption free India for a developed Nation' from 31st October to 6th November 2022 at Corporate Office, Faridabad and its various power stations/ projects/ regional offices and field units.
The programme began with reading out messages from President of India, Prime Minister of India and other dignitaries on the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week. R.P. Goyal, Director (Finance), NHPC also administered the oath of "Integrity Pledge" to the employees at Corporate Office, Faridabad and other NHPC locations joined through online mode. Speaking on the occasion Goyal appealed all employees to follow all procedures and guidelines in order to ensure transparency and accountability. He further asked everyone to work harder with full integrity which would lead to the benefit of NHPC and the nation as a whole.
During the inaugural function, R.P. Goyal, Director (Finance), NHPC appreciated that various programmes are planned during the Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 and NHPC shall be organizing activities such as quizzes, debates, essay writing, poetry competitions etc. for its employees and their family members at Corporate Office and also across all it locations on the theme 'Corruption free India for a developed Nation.'
