Gruesome killings
1/2/2023 11:07:23 PM

The gruesome terror attack at Dhangri village in Rajouri district that left four civilians dead has sent shockwaves across Jammu and Kashmir.
Terrorists opened fire on unarmed civilians injuring twelve people, of which four succumbed to injuries and eight others are battling for their lives.
Just 12 hours after the attack, terrorists detonated an IED in the same area killing two minor children. Terrorists turning their guns towards innocents have once again proven that terror has no religion.
Anyone can become a target as the terrorists only know how to spill blood. The terror attack by Pakistani-backed terrorists against the members of the minority community in Rajouri is an act of utter cowardice. The attack was carried out by the terrorists to make their presence felt and create a wedge between the two communities.
By attacking innocents, terrorists have once again shown that they can go to any extent to appease their bosses sitting across the Line of Control (LoC).
After the abrogation of Article 370, Pakistan and the terrorists backed by it have made many attempts to create disturbances in J&K. In 2021, terrorists carried out selective killings of the members of the minority communities in Kashmir and tried their best to recreate 1990’s like situation but the security agencies acted swiftly and thwarted their attempts.
After the terror attack in Rajouri, the security forces have swung into action and the searches have been launched to track down the assailants. The perpetrators will be identified and punished.
It’s high time for the country’s leadership to take a call and act tough against the terror sponsors. Voices to take decisive action against the terrorists and their sponsors are becoming shriller. Commanders of the armed forces on many occasions have reiterated that soldiers are waiting for the signal to crossover and reclaim Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).
If the terrorists keep on attacking civilians, then the Indian armed forces won’t be left with any other option other than taking on the terrorists within their dens.
Attacks on civilians can’t be tolerated. Terrorists will have to pay a heavy price for their actions as the ‘New India’ believes in teaching a lesson to the adversary in the language which he understands. The civilian killings will be avenged and the perpetrators will be punished.
