NEW DELHI, Jan 16: A police jeep, part of Union Minister Ashwini Choubey's cavalcade, met with an accident while on their way from Buxar to Patna. The police jeep on Sunday reportedly overturned after falling into a ditch. Several police officers were injured when the police jeep overturned after falling into a ditch. The minister escaped unhurt, according to a report by India Today.
The incident took place on Dumraon's Mathila-Narayanpur road.
Several hours after the accident, the Union Minister took to Twitter and wrote in Hindi, "In order to go from Buxar to Patna, the car of Koransarai police station running in the carcade has met with an accident in the canal of the road bridge of Dumrao's Mathila-Narayanpur road. Everyone is well by the grace of Lord Shri Ram. Going to Dumrao Sadar Hospital with the injured policemen and driver." The injured police personnel were immediately rushed to the nearby hopsital. |
