| Locals urge admin to repair potholed Khanabal-Pahalgam road | | |

Anantnag, May 20: Khanabal-Pahalgam Road is in dilapidated condition making it difficult for the motor vehicles to ply.
Locals told Early Times that for the past many years the complete macdamization of the road has not taken place. “The R&B Department is just carrying patchwork of the road,” they said.
“We have heard that Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha is visiting Pahalgam. We hope that he takes note of the potholed road from Khanabal to Pahalgam and directs the concerned department to carry out the complete macdamization of this important road,” they said.
“The summer has arrived and macdamization of this road should have commenced by now. We urge the administration to get this all important road leading to Pahalgam repaired at the earliest,” they added. |
