"Swacchata Pakhwada" campaign-2023

NEW DELHI, Sept 16: "Swacchata Pakhwada" campaign is being organized over Indian Railways from 16.09.2023 to 30.09.2023. The Swacchata Pakhwada will culminate on the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd of October 2023.
On the first day of the campaign the theme was " Swacchata Sapath and Swacchata Jagrukta" Sukhvinder Singh Division Railway Manager/Delhi administered the Swacchata Pledge to the officers and staff at DRM office New Delhi. The Pledge was administered to officers and staff by Head of units all over Delhi Division i.e. Railway Stations, Sheds, Offices, etc. Tree plantation also done at Railway Stations, Sheds, etc.
"Vrikshit" an NGO came forward for cleaning the garbage on this occasion. Cleaning was organized along the tracks near Delhi Azadpur Railway Station on the Subzi Mandi - Adarsh Nagar rail section. Shri Sukhvinder Singh, DRM/Delhi also visited the site at Delhi Azadpur Railway Station along with the senior officers of Delhi Division, where the volunteers of the NGO were organising the cleanliness campaign.
