| MP Jugal Kishore writes to Rajnath Singh, seeks CBI probe | | |

Jammu, Dec 5: Senior BJP leader and Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma in October this year had written a letter to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh requesting him to get rifleman Amit Singh’s death probed by the CBI.
The letter written by Sharma, which is lying with Early Times reads: “I am enclosing request letter & relevants received from Rattan Singh R/o Dhounchak Tehsil Jourian District Jammu, J&K father of deceased Amit Singh Choudhary.
He has approached me for initiating a CBI enquiry over the death of his son Amit Singh Choudhary and seeking justice. Amit Singh Choudhary was a Rifleman attached as Sahayak in West Bengal died on duty under mysterious circumstances and his body found in a lodge which is at a short distance from his unit. His family informed me that their son was silently murdered & urged me to forward their case to your goodself for CBI enquiry and justice.
Kindly look into the matter sympathetically and direct concerned officers to enquire about the death of Amit Singh Choudhary.” |
