2 die in Sidhra accident

Jammu, Jan 30: In a devastating incident, a fatal accident occurred in Sidhra when an auto load carrier, bearing registration No JK02CN 1843, met with a tragic accident. The vehicle, driven by Mr. Raj Kumar, son of Krishan Lal and a resident of Patoli Brahmana, was en route from Sidhra to Surinsar.
According to reliable information received from PP Sidhra, the driver lost control over the speed of the auto load carrier when it reached near Aithem. The vehicle subsequently rolled down into a deep gorge, resulting in a catastrophic accident.
Tragically, both the driver, Raj Kumar, and one passenger, Mr. Krishan Lal, son of Inder Singh and a resident of Jain Bazar, Jammu, lost their lives on the spot due to the impact of the accident.
The incident has left the community in shock and mourning. Local authorities and law enforcement have been notified, and investigations into the circumstances leading to the accident are underway. The bodies of the deceased have been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem examinations.
This tragic event serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety and the need for drivers to exercise caution, especially on hilly terrains. The local community and authorities extend their heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased, hoping for strength and solace during this difficult time.
