NEW DELHI, Feb 13: The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has released the Vehicle Retail Data for January 2024 for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, indicating a significant upswing in various vehicle categories compared to the same period last year.
Highlights from the report include:
2-Wheeler Category: Witnessed a robust growth of 16.50%, with 4,583 units sold in January 2024 compared to 3,934 units in January 2023.
3-Wheeler Category: Recorded an impressive growth of 118.67%, with sales reaching 1,148 units in January 2024, up from 525 units in January 2023.
Commercial Vehicle Category: Experienced a notable growth of 17.63%, with 1,041 units sold in January 2024, compared to 885 units in January 2023.
Passenger Vehicle Category: Demonstrated a substantial growth of 24.41%, selling 5,388 units in January 2024 in contrast to 4,331 units in January 2023.
