NEW DELHI, Feb 16: In a significant boost to Haryana's rail infrastructure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rohtak-Meham-Hansi 68.5 km new rail line, valuing Rs. 889.28 crore, and flagged off the Rohtak-Hansi-Rohtak train service. The inauguration took place via video conferencing from Rewari.
The project, sanctioned on a cost-sharing basis with the Haryana State Government, signifies a joint effort towards modernizing rail infrastructure, enhancing safety measures, and improving connectivity within the region. With contributions from both entities on a 50:50 basis, this initiative underscores the commitment to facilitating more efficient movement of goods and people.
