NEW DELHI, Mar 31: The Delhi police has apprehended a man for making a video that involved burning of a road barricade by the police department and led to major traffic jam on a busy road in the national capital's Paschim Vihar area.
According to the police on Saturday, "An information regarding severe traffic violation by a modified car (Golden colour) was received through a social media platform-X (formerly twitter) in which a person was seen in a video at main flyover outer ring road, Paschim vihar resulting in blocking the road leading to a heavy traffic jam."
The offender identified as Pradeep Dhaka, aged 25 years, is a YouTube content uploader and had made these videos for the uploading. However, the police said that he had violated traffic rules and damaged government property.

While sharing the video on X (formerly Twitter), a user, while tagging authorities, wrote, "Viral Video of Youth Halting Traffic on Paschim Vihar Flyover has gone viral Whether to call it a money addiction or a quest for fame, a youth is seen recklessly performing stunts by stopping cars on a flyover in Paschim Vihar, @DelhiPolice @dtptraffic @LtGovDelhi @HMOIndia".
The offending vehicle which is a HI- Lander and costs around Rs 20 Lakhs with the name plate HR 26 FB 5112 has been seized. Further, a hefty penalty of Rs. 36,000 was also issued against violation of traffic rules and regulations by traffic police.
