JALANDHAR, Apr 10: In a thrilling display of skill and teamwork, Lovely Professional University's (LPU) all-girls team emerged victorious at the highly anticipated All India Inter University E-Sports Championship 2024. The team clinched the national championship title in the popular game 'Valorant' and achieved an impressive runner-up position in BGMI, captivating the hearts of millions of viewers across the globe.
Already much popular worldwide, e-sport competitions are held globally in a score of languages with its participation and viewership from among many millions. In India, e-sports have been established presently at higher education level as All India University E-sports Championships. It is for the momentous growth and development of e-sports in the country. LPU has also successfully conducted some AIU tournaments collaboratively to propagate e-sports in India.
LPU students- Saumya Pande, Varsha Singh, Nanika Singh, Muskan Gautam, and Diya Maji, of diverse professional programs, showcased exceptional dedication and talent throughout the tournament. Their stellar performance garnered admiration and applause from the gaming community and enthusiasts alike.
