Srinagar, Aug 20: Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) today presents chargesheet against (1) Pakistani Handler/ terrorist Commander @ Sumama @ llyas (2) Shabir Ahmad Bhat S/O Ghulam Mohammad Bhat R/O Khadermoh, Kakapora, Pulwama and (3) Javed Ahmad Yatoo S/O Late Abdul Majeed Yatoo R/O Astan Mohalla Patal Bagh Pampore, before the Hon'ble Court of Special Judge, Designated under NIA Act, at Srinagar, in case FIR No. 02/2024 U/S 13,38,39,40 ULA(P) Act r/ w 120-B IPC of P/S CIK Srinagar.
This case owes its origin to an information received through reliable sources by Police Station CIK wherein it was reported that a Pakistani based terrorist Commander/Handler @ Sumama @ llyas sitting in Pakistan, in a criminal conspiracy with Shabir Ahmad Bhat S/O Ghulam Mohammad Bhat R/O Khadermoh, Kakapora, Pulwama and Javed Ahmad Yatoo S/O Late Abdul Majeed Yatoo R/O Astan Mohalla Patal Bagh Pampore, in order to funnel money to the proscribed terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) in Jammu and Kashmir, manages funds from Gulf countries and bring it to Jammu and Kashmir through (couriers) and subsequently the money is used in terrorist related activities. The said terrorist commander/handler is also known for recruiting the potential youths into terrorist ranks through different Social Media applications including encrypted messaging applications. A reward of INR 3.00 Lacs has already been announced for giving information about the terrorist commander/Handler @ Sumama @ Ilyas. |
