JALANDHAR, Sept 16: Be passionate about the product, not money, this is the best way to succeed as an entrepreneur. With these inspiring words during an engaging session, the dynamic duo, Ghazal and Varun Alagh, founders of Mamaearth, shared their entrepreneurial journey with the students of LPU. Mamaearth is one of the fastest-growing start-ups that reached a revenue of INR 1000 crore.
LPU organized the live session of the 'Two Minds, One Vision Couplepreneurs behind Mamaearth'. The dynamic couple shared their incredible journey of building Mamaearth, navigating opportunities, and overcoming challenges as a couple in the world of entrepreneurship. The whole LPU campus was buzzing with entrepreneurial energy.
Dr Ashok Kumar Mittal, Founder Chancellor of LPU & MP Rajya Sabha & Dr. Col. Rashmi Mittal, the Pro-Chancellor of LPU, warmly welcomed the couple. They both emphasized the importance of finding a partner who shares your goals as a key to success. Dr Rashmi mentioned that this couple is the best example and motivation for all of us.
Addressing the budding entrepreneurs, Ghazal Alagh shared poignant insights on the delicate art of balancing personal and professional commitments. She emphasized the pivotal role of family, children, and personal relationships in fostering a meaningful life journey, urging individuals to cherish these pillars alongside their work pursuits. She mentioned that the entrepreneurial journey is pretty complex but my mantra has been to break the big steps into small ones when you start your own business.
According to Varun Alagh, every business is conducted between people; our purpose is to assist people and promoting direct participation as a means of gaining a thorough understanding of customer demands. Rather than taking monumental leaps, he encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to embark on a journey of incremental progress, refining their ideas through meaningful interactions with potential consumers. Once you sorted it then start building the market and try to do something different from the product available in the market.
The power couple also enjoyed their time immersing in the culturally vibrant atmosphere of the LPU campus and joined in fun conversations with the audience.
