NEW DELHI, Nov 6: Pinegrove School, Dharampur is hosting the 4th Invitational Cricket Tournament for U-13 Boys from 5th-8th November. The opening ceremony was graced by Sanjeev Suri, CEO of Eurochem International, UAE, as the chief guest. Five elite schools from across India, Bishop Cotton School, Shimla; Mayo College, Ajmer; The Punjab Public School, Nabha; Welham Boys' School, Dehradun; and Pinegrove School, Solan, have come together for a thrilling series of league matches. Devashish Saizal, the Sports Prefect, carried out the oath-taking ceremony, with the boys' brass band adding an energizing touch to the atmosphere. Excitement reached new heights with the commencement of the inaugural match between Pinegrove and Welham Boys' School. Pinegrove won the toss, opted to bat and set a challenging target of 151 runs for 1 wicket in 15 overs. They clinched victory with a 54-run lead, kicking off the tournament to an exhilarating start. Dilsher Pratap Singh was named Player of the Match. |
