Omar led govt will remove anomalies to boost health sector: Dr. Farooq

Srinagar, Nov 24: The President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Sunday said that the government led by Omar Abdullah is dedicated to rectifying the losses incurred in the health sector over the past 10 years.
Dr. Farooq made these remarks while speaking to a delegation of paramedic employees from GMC Anantnag and its affiliated hospitals, who visited him at his residence in Gupkar, Srinagar.
The delegation members sought the establishment of a job policy and the regularization of their services within a specific timeframe. Dr. Farooq reassured the delegation that their legitimate concerns would be promptly addressed by the relevant ministry.
He emphasized that the government led by Omar Abdullah is committed to addressing the setbacks experienced in the health sector over the last decade. He highlighted that the improvement and expansion of infrastructure in primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare facilities are the foundation of the NC’s manifesto, which will be executed diligently and effectively.
