MAHAKUMBH, Dec 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Prayagraj on Friday to inspect preparations for the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025. During his visit, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and launch a series of development projects worth approximately Rs 7,000 crore. As part of his itinerary, PM Modi will offer prayers at the sacred Sangam Nose and visit iconic sites like Akshay Vat and the Lete Hanuman Temple. These initiatives aim to enhance the grandeur of the Mahakumbh Mela and give a significant boost to the overall development of Prayagraj. In addition, the Prime Minister will launch the 'Sahayak' chatbot, designed to assist visitors during the Mahakumbh. The chatbot, alongside other projects, is expected to make the event more organized and accessible while strengthening Prayagraj's identity as a cultural and spiritual hub. At the outset of his visit, the PM will offer prayers at the Sangam site around 12:15 PM. Following this, at approximately 12:40 PM, he will perform rituals at the Akshay Vat tree. The Prime Minister will then visit the Hanuman Temple and Saraswati Koop to offer prayers. Around 1:30 PM, PM Modi will tour the Maha Kumbh exhibition site. At 2:00 PM, he will inaugurate various projects related to Maha Kumbh 2025, aimed at enhancing infrastructure and connectivity in Prayagraj. The projects include 10 new road overbridges (ROBs) or flyovers, permanent ghats, riverfront roads, and several rail and road initiatives to boost seamless connectivity and improve facilities across the city.
