Jharkhand man arrested in Baramulla

SRINAGAR, Mar 16 : Police have successfully solved a decade-old online bank fraud case and arrested the accused, a Jharkhand resident involved in the crime in Baramulla district.
Police on Sunday said that in a significant breakthrough, Police in Baramulla have successfully solved a 10-year-old case dating back to the year 2016, registered at Police Station Boniyar under section 420 of RPC.
They said that the accused identified as Manoj Das resident of Deoghar Jharkhand, was involved in an online Bank Fraud case amounting to Rs 90,000/.
Further investigation is underway.
Police remain committed to ensuring public safety and urge citizens to cooperate with police and report any suspicious activities to help maintain peace and order in the community.
