Killing of India’s most wanted terrorists by gunmen

· On December 22, 2023, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) top trainer Abdullah Shaheen was mysteriously killed in a road accident in Pakistan.
· Maulana Sher Bahadur, a radical preacher and a known supporter of JeM, was murdered in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on December 3, 2023. He was shot at point-blank range, leading to his immediate death.
· On December 5, 2023 Adnan Ahmed, alias Hanzala Adnan and a mastermind behind the 2016 attack on a CRPF convoy in Pampore, was killed by unknown gunmen in Karachi.
· On November 25, 2023 one more of India’s most wanted terrorists was killed by unknown gunmen on Pakistan’s soil. The self-styled commander of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) Younus Khan was shot dead by unknown men in the Mamond area of Bajaur, Pakistan.
· Dawood Malik, a prominent figure involved in anti-India activities and closely associated with the wanted terrorist Maulana Masood Azhar, was assassinated on Pakistani soil.
· Shahid Latif, the mastermind behind the 2016 terror attack on the Indian Air Force Base in Pathankot, being killed earlier in Sialkot, Pakistan.
· Akram Ghazi, another top commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba, was assassinated in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by motorcycle-borne assailants on 10 November 2023.
· Maulana Raheem Ullah Tariq, a close aide of Jaish-e-Muhammed (JeM) chief Maulana Masood Azhar, was gunned down in Karachi on November 14, 2023.
· Shahif Latif, a terrorist affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) was on the most-wanted list of Indian security agencies, was killed on October 11, 2023.
· Ziaur Rehman, another member of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) who also served as a cleric at Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar, was involved in radicalising youth to take up arms and conduct jihad against India was gunned down on September 29, 2023.
· Riyaz Ahmad, alias Abu Qasim Kashmiri, a resident of Jammu, was the main conspirator behind the Dhangri attack in Rajouri district was assassinated by unidentified gunmen on September 8, 2023.
· Sardar Hussain Arania, another LeT terrorist and a close aide of Hafeez Saeed, who operated the madrassa network of Jamaat-ud-Dawah, was gunned down near his shop in Nawabshah, Karachi on August 1, 2023.
· Syed Noor Shalobar, notorious for terror recruitment in the Kashmir valley and working closely with the Pakistan Army and ISI to spread terrorism in J&K, was killed in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region by unknown gunmen on March 4, 2023.
· Bashir Ahmad Peer, alias Imtiyaz Alam, a top commander of the banned terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Pakistan’s Rawalpindi on February 20, 2023.
· On February 27, 2023 unidentified gunmen shot dead former Al-Badr Mujahideen commander Syed Khalid Raza in the port city of Karachi in Pakistan.
· Aijaz Ahmad Ahangar, a Kashmiri terrorist functioning as a top commander of the global terror group Islamic State, was found dead on February 14, 2023.
· Zahoor Mistry, who was one of the five terrorists that hijacked Indian Airlines IC-814 plane and was associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), was killed in Karachi on March 1, 2022.
