2 soldiers die in line of duty

Srinagar, Mar 21: The Indian Army’s Leh-based Fire and Fury Corps paid tribute to two soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty in the union territory of Ladakh.
Havaldar Kishore Bara and Sepoy Suraj Kumar laid down their lives in the line of duty in Ladakh on March 20.
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Fire and Fury Corps, along with all ranks, paid homage to Havaldar Bara and Sepoy Kumar. The Army extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, honouring their bravery and sacrifice.
“ GOC, Fire and Fury Corps and All Ranks salute Hav Kishore Bara and Sep Suraj Kumar, who made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty in #Ladakh on 20 Mar 2025 and offer deep condolences to the bereaved families in this hour of grief,” Fire and Fury Corps said on X.
The Army, however, did not reveal the exact circumstances leading to the death of two soldiers.
The Northern Army Commander, Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar, also paid tribute to two soldiers.
“Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar, Army Commander, Northern Command and All Ranks of #DhruvaCommand salute the supreme sacrifice of #Bravehearts Hav Kishore Bara & Sep Suraj Kumar, who laid down their lives in the line of duty in #Ladakh. #DhruvaCommand stands firm with the bereaved families in this hour of grief,” Northern Command of Indian Army said in a post on X.
