Srinagar, Apr 23: A team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) led by an Inspector General on Wednesday reached the terror attack site Baisaran, Pahalgam in South Kashmir.
Sources said the team besides other officials included top NIA officers, Inspector General, Deputy Inspector General and Senior Superintendent.
The team would provide assistance to the local police probing Tuesday’s terrorist attack which left 26 people, mostly tourists, dead.
Pertinently, a group of terrorists on Tuesday afternoon gunned down tourists milling around eateries, taking pony rides or just picnicking with their families at the meadow popularly known as ‘Mini Switzerland’ for its serene beauty. |
