| Indian Army distributed furniture to school at Mendhar, Poonch | | | Early Times Report POONCH, Oct 4: As part of its ongoing effort to enhance educational infrastructure in remote border areas, the Indian Army under Operation Sadbhavana, distributed furniture to the Boys Higher Secondary School, Mendhar. A total of 81 chairs were handed over for the newly constructed auditorium as requested by the school Principal. The ceremony held on the school premises was attended by 95 students, 22 faculty members and personnel from the Indian Army. This initiative underscores the Indian Army's commitment not only to national security but also to community welfare and educational development. The newly furnished auditorium is expected to ease overcrowding and significantly boost student morale. Mr. Sayed Saleem Shah, the Principal of the school expressed his heartfelt gratitude, emphasizing that the new furniture will greatly improve the learning environment for students. The Indian Army also encouraged local residents and school management to maintain the facilities and collaborate in future developmental initiatives. This effort is part of the broader outreach by Indian Army under Operation Sadbhavana, which focuses on health, education, infrastructure development and community engagement in the border regions of Jammu & Kashmir. |
