Early Times Report JINDRAH, Oct 4: In line with the nationwide campaign to create awareness about cleanliness and hygiene, PM SHRI Government Girls Middle School Jindrah successfully organised a "Swachhta Pakhwada", a fortnight-long programme filled with a series of activities aimed at sensitising students and the community about the importance of cleanliness, health, and environmental protection. The programme was conducted under the overall supervision of Shamash Din, In-charge Headmaster, who guided and encouraged the students to actively participate in various events. The activities included seminars, quiz contests, drawing and painting sessions, essay competitions, and interactive lectures highlighting the importance of personal hygiene, clean surroundings, and waste management. A special seminar was conducted where students expressed their views on "Clean India - Green India" and the role of youth in carrying forward the Swachh Bharat Mission. The essay and quiz competitions witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, who showcased their creativity, awareness, and commitment towards building a cleaner and healthier society. The entire programme was coordinated by Teacher Sadaket Ali, who meticulously planned the activities and ensured maximum involvement of the students. The event also received valuable cooperation and support from teachers Lakshmi Devi, Bindya Rani, and Babita Kumari, who played an important role in motivating the students and maintaining the spirit of teamwork throughout the fortnight. Speaking on the occasion, Headmaster Shamash Din emphasised that cleanliness is not just a responsibility but also a moral duty of every citizen. He appreciated the efforts of the students and staff in making the campaign meaningful and impactful. The Swachhta Pakhwada concluded with a pledge ceremony, where both students and staff members resolved to keep their school, homes, and surroundings clean, thereby contributing to the vision of a Swachh Bharat. The school management expressed its gratitude to all teachers, students, and community members who participated in the campaign and reiterated the school's commitment to nurturing socially responsible citizens through such meaningful initiatives. |
