SSP Doda holds Pipping Ceremony of newly promoted Sub-Inspectors

DODA, Oct 4: A formal piping ceremony was held today at Police Station Doda by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda, Shri Sandeep Mehta (JKPS) to felicitate the promotion of several Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) to the rank of Sub-Inspectors (SI).
The event was attended by the families and relatives of the promoted officers besides senior police officers including Addl. SP Hqrs Doda, Shri Mohd Aslam; SP Ops Doda, Shri Davinder Singh; DySP Hqrs Doda, Shri Ajay Anand; DySP DAR Doda, Shri Adil Rishu; SHO PS Doda, Inspector Pervaiz Ahmed Khanday.
The officers who were elevated to their new ranks are ASIs (now SIs) Rehamtullah, Mushtaq Ahmed, Ghulam Mohi-Ud-Din, Tilak Raj, Vandana Rani, Shoket Ali, Hari Krishan and Abdul Qayoom.
The ceremony was conducted with traditional pomp and dignity, during which the officers were formally pinned with their new ranks.
Addressing the gathering, SSP Doda Shri Sandeep Mehta congratulated the promoted officers on achieving this significant milestone in their careers. He emphasized that the promotion to SI is not only a recognition of their dedication and hard work but also a call for greater responsibility. He urged them to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and commitment in the discharge of their duties.
The SSP further highlighted the importance of continuous learning, professionalism, and community service, encouraging the officers to serve as role models and work diligently for the safety and security of the district. He assured them of full departmental support in their future endeavors and expressed confidence in their ability to serve with honesty and devotion. The officers and their families expressed gratitude to the department and pledged to serve the nation with renewed zeal and responsibility.
