MLA Arvind Gupta inaugurates lane and drain upgradation work in Ward 13

JAMMU, Oct 4: MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta, today inaugurated the upgradation work of the lane and drain from A.P. Gandotra Store to the house of Atul in Reshamghar Colony, Ward No. 13.
The initiative aims to improve civic infrastructure, ensure proper drainage, and enhance the living conditions of local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Gupta said, "This project reflects our commitment to providing basic amenities and modern infrastructure to every resident of Jammu West. Clean lanes and proper drainage are essential for public health, safety, and overall urban development. We will continue to work tirelessly to address civic issues and improve the quality of life in all neighborhoods of our constituency."
He was accompanied by Mandal President Kushant Prajapati, XEn Division-1 JMC Rajesh Kumar, AEE JMC Suran Singh, and senior BJP leaders including Atul Bakshi and Sanjay Sharma. A large number of BJP karyakartas also participated, showing strong support for the development initiative. Among them were Sonu Manhas, Mohit Vaid, Rekha Sharma, Sudesh, Indresh Gupta, Ashish Gupta, Arti Khajuria, Parveen Gupta, Bunty Choudhary, Arun Sharma, Dittu Bali, Subash Sharma, Lokinder Kohli, Arjun Bamba, Rajesh Kumar, and Rishav Gandotra.
The project involves modernizing the existing lane, widening pathways where necessary, and constructing a robust drain system to prevent waterlogging during the rainy season.
Residents of the area expressed appreciation for the timely intervention and said the work would significantly improve sanitation and mobility in the colony.
Arvind Gupta also assured that similar development projects would be undertaken across other wards, emphasizing that citizen-centric governance and responsive administration remain a top priority of his office.
The inauguration marked a collaborative effort between local authorities, BJP leaders, and residents, reflecting a shared commitment to urban development and community welfare in Jammu West.
