JAMMU, Oct 4: Dandiya Night 2025 - A Grand Celebration of Festivity and Togetherness Jammu, October 3, 2025: The much-awaited Dandiya Night was celebrated with immense zeal and enthusiasm on October 3,2025, Thursday at J.P. World School. The evening was marked by vibrant performances, cultural extravaganza, and the joyful spirit of Navratri, bringing students, parents, and the community together under one roof. The school witnessed a crowd of more than 500 people. This evening became even more special with the gracious presence of distinguished dignitaries - personalities whose dedication, service, and leadership are an inspiration to all. We were honoured to welcome Mr. Bashir Ahmed Munshi, Additional District and Sessions Judge as our Chief guest. Amongst other dignitaries were Mrs.and Mr. Ashok Manhas ji and other members of the management. His encouragement and support added dignity to the occasion. Adding further charm to the event, various social media influencers and public figures also joined, amplifying the festive energy of the evening. The event began with a welcome address, followed by Ravan Dahan, the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, and felicitation of the esteemed guests.mr munish gupta (vice president j&K sports speed ball association), S.Sucha Singh ( director sports raffa boules india federation, and sunny nanda (Asst. Director special olympic bharat,). The audience was captivated by a series of performances, including a dance act by an outside troupe, energetic dance presentations by school students, and a delightful modeling show by our little kids through the Fancy Dress Competition. The highlight of the event was the fashion show Sabhyata Season 3. The show stoppers of the ramp walk were Ms. Mehak Mahajan and Mr. Ashish Gupta. The evening was made more special when the audience joined together for spirited rounds of Dandiya, filling the grounds with rhythm, laughter, and festivity. Adding to the festive charm, numerous stalls were set up offering a wide variety of delicious eatables, shopping options, and fun-filled games. These stalls became a hub of excitement, ensuring there was something engaging for everyone. On this occasion, Chairperson Dr. Panna Manhas Choudhary Ji shared her heartfelt message, emphasizing the importance of celebrating culture and traditions while fostering unity and happiness in society. She congratulated the entire school community for organizing such a vibrant and meaningful event. The School's Principal Ms. Aparana Kohli, in her address, extended a strong social message, urging everyone to prioritize health and awareness. She highlighted the importance of breast cancer awareness, especially in the month of October, which is observed globally as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. She also emphasized the need to say no to drugs, reminding students and parents alike that a healthy mind and body pave the way for a brighter future. The evening concluded with dazzling Dandiya rounds that brought everyone together - students, parents, staff, and guests - symbolizing joy, unity, and cultural pride. The Dandiya Night 2025 will be remembered as not only a cultural celebration but also as a platform that blended festivity with powerful social messages, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all present.
