ANANTNAG, Nov 12: In a major crackdown against the banned organisation Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI), Anantnag Police today carried out extensive raids at multiple locations across the Police District. The searches were conducted at the residential premises and other locations linked to JeI members and their associates as part of the ongoing efforts to dismantle the terror ecosystem and its support structures. During the operations, incriminating materials was recovered. Several individuals associated with JeI were also questioned and subsequently bound down under the relevant provisions of law. |
