UDHAMPUR, Dec 2: Police team of PS Chenani during routine checking at Naka Motor Shed intercepted a Mahindra Bolero Pick-Up bearing registration number JK19A-2864 driven by Rayaz Ahmed Sohil S/o Ghulam Nabi Sohil R/o Zanchous, Chacknarwah, Tehsil Banihal, District Ramban, who was moving from Udhampur towards Kashmir.
During checking, 06 bovines were found cruelly and illegally loaded in the vehicle without any valid permission.
All bovines were rescued and the accused was arrested on the spot.
In this regard, FIR No. 125/2025 U/S 223 BNS, 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Chenani and further investigation is underway. |
