Venus sets, no auspicious events will be held until February 3rd

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 2: Mahamandaleshwar Swami Anup Giri Maharaj from the ancient Shiva temple in Bishnah stated that Venus will set on December 12th. The Vardhakya Dosh of Venus setting will begin three days before, on December 9th. Venus will rise on January 31st, 2026, and the Valyatva Dosh will persist for three days after its rise, until February 3rd. All auspicious activities are prohibited during the setting of the star. Therefore, all auspicious activities will be prohibited from December 9th to February 3rd; no auspicious work of any kind will be performed.
What not to do during the setting of the star:- All auspicious activities, such as marriage, engagement, mundan ceremony, housewarming ceremony, groundbreaking ceremony, opening a new business, constructing a roof, purchasing a vehicle, etc., are prohibited during the setting of the star.
What can be done:- Auspicious activities are prohibited during the setting of the star, but preliminary preparations for those activities can be made. Activities such as matching horoscopes, seeing a boy or girl, viewing land and property, registering them, purchasing clothes, gold and silver, purchasing materials for building a house, and repairing an old house can be performed.
Scientific Perspective: When a planet, while traveling on its path, reaches very close to the Sun, it becomes invisible from Earth. In this situation, the planet is said to be setting. Due to its proximity to the Sun, its rays stop falling on Earth. Therefore, all auspicious activities related to that planet on Earth are prohibited.
Astrological Perspective: When a planet is in its own sign or exalted sign in the horoscope and is setting, that planet will be weak and will not be able to produce its auspicious results. Similarly, if a planet is in its lowest sign or in its lowest house in the horoscope and is setting, that planet will not be able to produce its inauspicious results. That is, when it sets, the planet becomes weak and produces adverse results. Similarly, if the Mahadasha or Antardasha of a planet is going on in the horoscope and sets during transit, then it will become weak and will give adverse results. If the Moon is in its own sign Cancer or its exalted sign Taurus and is setting, that is, it is on Amavasya, then it will not be able to give auspicious results. Similarly, if the Moon is rising in its lowest sign Scorpio, that is, it is on Purnima, then the Moon will definitely give auspicious results.
Special:- Annual festivals like Lohri, Makar Sankranti, Mauni Amavasya, Vasant Panchami, etc. falling during the setting of the star should be celebrated with great pomp. If it is someone's birthday or wedding anniversary, then celebrate that too with great pomp. There is no consideration for these. You can also buy items related to these occasions.
