Apni Party strengthens its base further in north Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Dec 2: In a significant development, a large group of prominent political and social leaders, along with activists from Sopore and Baramulla, formally joined the Apni Party today at a grand event held at the party headquarters in Srinagar. All these new joinees were formally affiliated with parties like PDP, NC, and others.
Party Chief Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, along with other senior leaders, warmly welcomed the new entrants. The party leadership expressed hope that these inductions will further strengthen the party's cadre in the concerned areas and beyond.
The prominent among those joined Apni Party included Former Town President PDP Zubair Ahmad Dar, Vice Town President PDP Showkat Ahmad Dar, Ex Senior Worker NC Zahoor Ahmed Mir, Senior Worker NC Nisar Ahmad Pandith, Former Engineer JKPCC Liyakat Kaboo, Ex. Worker NC Ghulam Hassan Dar, and Ex Worker NC Mohammad Akbar - all hailing from Sopore. The prominent joinees from Baramulla included Social Worker Mansoor Beigh, Social Worker Nasir Akhoon, and others.
Addressing the occasion, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari warmly welcomed the new entrants and assured them that the Apni Party would provide a reliable platform for them to serve the people in their respective areas.
He said, "Apni Party is here to serve the people, and I assure you that this platform will offer you ample opportunities to work for your communities in your respective areas. I wholeheartedly welcome you, and I am confident that your joining will further strengthen our party cadre in places like Sopore and Baramulla."
Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari explained the agenda and policies of the party and spoke about a range of issues that people are facing in Jammu and Kashmir.
He expressed serious concern over the elected government's failure to deliver effective governance. Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari also spoke about the existing reservation policy, describing it as extremely unjust and a source of exploitation. He urged the government not to delay further in introducing a revised policy based on population ratios.
Besides Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, the prominent party leaders who were present on the occasion included Chairman Parliamentary Affairs Committee (PAC) Mohammad Dilawar Mir, Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, State Youth President & Spokesperson Yawar Dilawar Mir, DDC Chairman & Provincial Secretary Kashmir Malik Aftab, District President Baramulla Shabir Ahmad Shah, Constituency In-charge Sonawari Hajan Imtiyaz Paray, and others.
