SAMBA, Dec 9: Two-day Kisan Mela /Workshop was successfully organised today under the Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) at Rishi Farms Ramgarh, District Samba. The programme was chaired by the Honourable Member of Legislative Assembly, Ramgarh Constituency, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal who was accompanied by the Chief Agriculture Officer, Samba, Sh. Rakesh Khajuria, Head KVK Samba, District Agriculture Officer Samba, SDAO Samba, Ex-BDC Chairman, and Members of the District Development Board, Samba.
The dignitaries inspected various stalls installed by different wings of the Agriculture and Allied Departments. Agriculture experts interacted with farmers and elaborated on a wide range of government schemes, including initiatives for crop diversification, horticulture development, farm mechanisation, and farmer-centric welfare programmes. |
