Head Constable turns I/C PP's misdeeds make seniors fumigated | | | Early Times Report jammu, Feb 28: A blue-eyed cop of Jammu and Kashmir police (JKP) who attained two out of turn promotions at the behest of an Inspector General of Police (IGP) is ruling the roost in the Police Department while his complaints of misdeeds made seniors fumigated. If sources are to be believed, a 1990 batch constable with the blessings of his godfather (IGP) attained two special promotions and become Sub-Inspector. The saga of blessings does not stopped here only and he influenced his godfather to mount pressure on senior police officers to get him posted as in-charge police post in the periphery of the Jammu city. The blue-eyed not only managed two special promotions in the name of anti-militancy but also was appointed as in-charge police post however, his colleague constables get only two promotions to the rank of Head Constables. Sources further claimed that the cop in question get promotions after pleasing a senior police officer in the shape of doing his house hold jobs. The senior officer who pushed him to rank of sub-inspector was close to the corridor of power and was posted in a prime position in Srinagar then. Sources maintained that even though he had managed posting of in-charge police post but his immediate bosses receive complaints of his misdeeds day in and day out. |
