Jammu, June 6: The NCC Units of GGM Science College Jammu, in collaboration with All India Council of Human Rights, Liberties and Social Justice organized an Extension Lecture on Human Rights
The event was held under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal, GGM Science College, Jammu. He commended NCC Cadets, Students, faculty members, and Human Rights partner for leading this impactful effort.
The lecture was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Mohd. Mazammal Hussain (National Joint Secretary) Public Grievances.
He motivated the NCC Cadets to aware the common masses about the Human Rights so that they may not be victimized by any pressure group. He also emphasized upon the need to enlighten the youth about the human rights, which includes developing educational programmes, promoting inter disciplinary co-operation and providing recognition to those who are working for welfare of humanities and work for the protection of human being from any kind of discrimination and injustice all over the world.
He also said that one should maintain self respect and self responsibilities, which is need of the hour.
