Mega Surgical Camp held at SDH Bani

Jammu, Oct 29: To strengthen healthcare services and provide specialized treatment to people in remote areas, the Directorate of Health Services Jammu organized a Mega Surgical Camp at Sub District Hospitals (SDH) Bani. Under the guidance of Worthy Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar and in presence of Deputy Director Dentistry Dr. Sanjay Sharma, Chief Medical Officer Kathua Dr Vijay Raina and Sub Divisional Magistrate Bani Sh. Sandeep Sharma in presence of Dr Dev Raj Mishra Block Medical Officer Bani in collaboration with the super specialist doctors from the Rotary International Club inaugural ceremony (Ribbon Cutting) held in Sub District Hospital Bani wherein 13 patients have been fixed for surgery .
In this camp 96 patients has been fixed for the different surgical operations out of 96 patients 18 patients has been advised to attend SDH Basohli for cataract surgery and 25 patients has been advised to attend GMC Kathua for different types of surgery under latest technology and 53 patients will be operated in SDH Bani as of now 06 surgical operations has been conducted successfully and camp is going on all the precautions and management inspected by the visiting team has been found satisfactory.
A team of surgeons, anesthetists, and paramedical staff conducted a series of general and minor surgical procedures, catering to a large number of patients who benefitted from on-the-spot medical and surgical care.
Dr. Sanjay Sharma reviewed the arrangements and appreciated the dedication of the medical staff for ensuring quality healthcare delivery in these far-flung areas. He emphasized that such camps play a vital role in providing timely treatment and reducing the need for patient referrals to distant tertiary hospitals.
The local population expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Directorate of Health Services Jammu for organizing the camp and bringing specialized medical care to their doorstep.
The camp concluded successfully with several patients treated and follow-up care instructions provided to all beneficiaries.
