early times report

Jammu, Oct 29: armel Convent School, Kunjwani, came alive with colour, rhythm, and imagination as it hosted CARMEL VISTAS 2025, a grand celebration of art, music, and storytelling. For the very first time, this spectacular Carluminare event was conceptualised and organised by the students of Carmel themselves “CARL-LUMINARE ” — a proud moment that reflected their leadership, teamwork, and creative spirit. The event was led by Charge D’Affaires Arshdeep Kour, accompanied by Première Secrétaires Priyal Rajput and their vibrant team — Ragvi Sharma, Madeeha Ashraf, Anvi Rajput, Mannat Bharti, Pragati Paul, and Pragya Rajput, whose efforts ensured the day’s success.
The morning began with heartfelt words of welcome by the hosts Anchors Krishita Gupta and Adwita Singh Chark, Areeba Malik and Jasgeet kour followed by the Lighting of the Lamp, symbolising knowledge, wisdom, and new beginnings. The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Miss Ritul Charak, P&I Miss Ultra India 2025; Guest of Honour Fr. Shaiju Chacko, Chairman, Diocese of Jammu-Srinagar Education Society; and Principal Sister Maria Suzette, whose inspiring guidance continues to nurture confidence and creativity among students. The distinguished panel of judges — Mr. Sunil Sharma and Ms. Monisha Mehra — lent their expertise to the event, adding to its prestige.
Miss Charak, in her heartfelt address, said, “True beauty shines through purpose and passion. Every performance here reflects courage and creativity.” Fr. Shaiju Chacko praised the initiative, calling Carmel Vistas “a festival of values, vision, and vibrant talent.”
In Surtaal, the inter-school musical extravaganza, students from International Daily Rising School, KC International School, Heritage School, Unique International School, and Carmel Convent School mesmerised the audience with soulful performances. Heritage School lifted the First Prize, while KC Public School was declared Runner-up.
The cinematic segment, Cinephoria 2025, showcased powerful short films by Heritage School, KC International School, and Carmel Convent School, each weaving emotions, meaning, and creativity through the lens of youthful imagination. Carmel Convent School emerged as the Winner, earning thunderous applause for its impactful storytelling and artistic excellence.
As the curtains drew to a close, CARMEL VISTAS 2025 stood as a testament to Carmel’s enduring spirit — a day where every performance, every melody, and every frame reflected the beauty of expression, collaboration, and the boundless power of imagination.
