10/30/2025 11:27:36 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 30: Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson, former Vice-Chairman, and social activist Balbir Ram Rattan said that the growing recognition and respect for Hindi at the global level is a matter of pride for India. He stated that today, Hindi is no longer just a language, it has become a symbol of India’s cultural identity, tradition, and unity.
Balbir said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has strengthened its linguistic identity on international platforms. The use of Hindi in the United Nations, international conferences, and global forums is proof that the world now wishes to hear India’s voice in Hindi. He further noted that in the digital age, Hindi has also achieved a remarkable position in the fields of technology, education, and media.
He said that today, the Hindi-speaking community is continuously growing in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Gulf countries, and African nations. The introduction of Hindi study programmes in foreign universities and the celebration of World Hindi Day at the international level are evidence that Hindi is becoming a language of global communication.
Balbir Ram Rattan remarked that it is a matter of pride for every Indian citizen that our mother tongue is gaining respect worldwide. He urged the youth to promote the use of Hindi and to link it with modern technology and entrepreneurship. He emphasized that Hindi possesses immense expressive power and emotional depth, which the world needs to understand more profoundly.
He suggested adopting innovative teaching methods for Hindi in schools and colleges so that the new generation embraces the language with pride and confidence.
Balbir Ram Rattan said that Hindi is our identity, the soul of our culture. When the stature of Hindi rises, the honour of India rises. We should not merely speak this language but we should live it.
