A major highlight in 2025 has been the Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC 2025), which brought together over 3,000 stakeholders from academia, industry, and government to chart India’s scientific roadmap toward Viksit Bharat @ 2047. It emphasizes sustainable innovation, advanced materials, AI, quantum technologies, clean energy, and biomedical research, signaling where scientific focus and funding are expected to concentrate.
