Doda police traced two missing persons, reunited them with families

DODA, Mar 12: Doda Police have successfully traced two missing persons and reunited them with their families after completing all necessary legal formalities.
On 11-02-2026, a person namely Imtiyaz Ahmed (40 years), S/O Mohd Shafi, R/O Anchakri, Tehsil Bharth Bagla, District Doda, went missing from his home. In this regard, a missing report was entered at Police Post Bagla vide DDR No. 08 dated 19-02-2026. Acting on the report, police initiated sustained efforts to trace the missing person. Today, on 12-03-2026, with the assistance of human intelligence, the said person was successfully traced from Anchakri, Tehsil Bharth Bagla, District Doda. After completing all legal formalities, he was handed over to his legal heirs and the missing report stands closed.
Similarly, a lady namely Geeta Devi W/O Sanjeet Kumar R/O Bhaboore, Doda, who was reported missing vide DDR No. 14 dated 07-03-2026, has also been successfully traced out by Police Station Doda from Jammu. After recording her statement and completing other legal formalities, she was safely reunited with her family members. Accordingly, the missing report in this case has also been closed.
