Shri Ram School holds investiture ceremony

JAMMU, Sept 12: The Shri Ram School organised its Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026-27, celebrating leadership, responsibility, discipline and democratic values. The ceremony was graced by Wing Commander Nirmal Kumar, JKAS, as the Chief Guest, and Dr Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commandant, BSF, as the Special Guest. Mr Sanjeev Gupta, Chairman, and Ms Rajni Gupta, Director, also graced the occasion with their presence. The programme commenced with a soulful Welcome Song, setting an inspiring tone for the ceremony. Ms Shivani Vaid, Elementary School Head, delivered the formal welcome address and extended a warm greeting to the distinguished guests, parents, teachers and students. The highlight of the ceremony was the Investiture of the newly elected Student Council for the academic session 2026-27. The newly elected student leaders were ceremonially entrusted with their badges and responsibilities and took the Oath of Office, pledging to discharge their duties with sincerity, integrity and commitment.
Among the elected leaders, Rijul Sharma, Senior Head Boy; Amaani Gupta, Senior Head Girl; Vihaan Padha, Junior Head Boy; and Vedanshi Sharma, Junior Head Girl, took the oath and formally assumed their respective responsibilities.
Following the oath-taking ceremony, the elected Head Boy and Head Girl addressed the gathering, sharing their vision for the new academic session and expressing their commitment to serving the school community with dedication, empathy and responsibility.
Sonika Mahajan, Principal, administered the oath of office and encouraged the student leaders to lead by example, uphold integrity and discipline, and serve their peers with empathy, responsibility and dedication.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Wing Commander Nirmal Kumar, JKAS, shared valuable lessons on leadership and life, inspiring students to remain resilient, responsible and committed to their goals. Special Guest Dr Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commandant, BSF, motivated the students through an inspiring address, emphasising courage, perseverance, discipline and the importance of developing a strong sense of purpose.
