Man dies in Poonch accident

JAMMU, Feb 28: At least one person was killed and two others were injured after a truck met with an accident in the Kalai area of Poonch district on Saturday morning.
Officials said that a loaded truck was coming from Jammu to Poonch when it lost its balance near the Kalai area and rolled down, resulting in an accident. One person was killed and two others were injured.
The deceased has been identified as Maksood Ahmad, while as injured have been identified as Sajad Ahmad(22) son of Mohd Afzal resident of Sarikhawaja and Zahoor Ahmad(21) son of Mohd Ashraf resident of Fatapur.
The injured have been shifted to district hospital Poonch for treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
