JAMMU, Aug 18: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has suspended Er. Liyaqat Javid Sheikh Gojar, Assistant Engineer, PMGSY Division Thathri, following his arrest by the CBI’s Anti-Corruption Bureau, Jammu, in a case registered under FIR No. RC0042026A0008 As per Government Order No. 291-PW(R&B) of 2026, issued on August 14, the suspension will be effective from the date of his arrest on July 16, 2026.
During the suspension, Sheikh will remain attached to the office of the Superintending Engineer, PW(R&B) Circle, Doda-Kishtwar, and will be entitled to subsistence allowance at 50 per cent of his pay and dearness allowance under the applicable service rules. |
