Farooq says, let saffron party make the first move Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 16: The silence maintained by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti over government formation in Jammu and Kashmir has prompted the desperate Bharatiya Janata Party to send feelers to National Conference that its doors are open. Sources told Early Times a few second rung BJP leaders have met NC leaders and have discussed with them the possibility of both the parties joining hands if PDP says goodbye to BJP. "Discussions between BJP and NC leaders have taken place at a lower level and I don't think much headway has been made in this connection," said a BJP leader. Early Times Report Srinagar, Jan 16: The State Government has decided to "disengage" the political appointments made in the office by the former Chief Minister late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, who passed away on January 7. Highly placed sources said the big names in the list which will be disengaged include Prof Amitabh Mattoo, Advisor to CM, Waheed Parra, Political Analyst to CM and Tahir Sayed Media Analyst in the CM's Secretariat.
