Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 28:What can be more callousness of Government towards displaced Kashmiri Pandits that for last over 12 years it has failed to implement the Prime Minister's Special employment package of 6000 jobs announced way back 2008 by the then Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh during his visit to Akhnoor. Since last over 12 years the package is lingering and out of 6000 jobs only 3000 displaced Kashmiri Pandit youth were absorbed. According to sources the main objective of package was to confidence building measures (CBMs) among the displaced Pandits and bridge the gap created between two communities of Kashmir due to turmoil but the same has been deliberately delayed by the powers that be to thwart the return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits to their ancestral homeland. Sources said with State Government showing no interest in implementation of package, the Union Government over the years also failed to prevail upon the successive J&K Governments to implement the package in letter and spirit.
