Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 27: The state government has blazingly neglected the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Jammu, with merely 3 percent of funds of the total allocation spent on it in last two years. The official documents in possession of the Early Times reveal that out of the Prime Minister's special package for Jammu and Kashmir sanctioned in the year 2016, the GOI had kept aside a whooping Rs 1000 crores for the establishment of the IIM Campus in Jammu region of the state. However, what could unmask the government's dilatory and non- serious mode of functioning was that it spent a meager 31.16 crores in two years. Such a revelation has once again brought to fore government's discriminatory approach towards projects of Jammu shameful compromise of the BJP which represents Jammu region in the state coalition.
