An official spokesman said in the interest of administration, Government Order No.1091-GAD of 2014 dated 21.10.2014, to the extent it pertains to the transfers and postings of Mukhtar-ul-Aziz, KAS, and Soujanya Kumar Sharma, KAS, is hereby revoked.

Jammu, Mar 10: The release of the Kashmiri separatist Masarat Alam from jail, Tuesday took a new turn when a news channel reported that the process of his release was initiated during Governor's rule in mid February.
The reports suggest that in a letter on February 4, state's Home Secretary Suresh Kumar told the Jammu District Magistrate that an order detaining the separatist under the Public Safety Act had become void as it had not been confirmed in time by the state Home Department.
