Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 14: Over 30,000 employees, including engineers posted on deputation basis in Jammu as well as in Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL and KPDCL) are likely to face salary crisis in the next financial year also. Sources told Early Times that instead of keeping separate budgetary provisions for disbursing salaries of the employees, government has decided to give grant-in-aid to the corporations for the next financial year. They said that the employee/official union members of both the corporations had been demanding regular budgetary provisions to pay the salaries of the employees as well as officials, posted in these corporations. “During the creation of new corporations, the employees and officials of the Power Development Department (PDD) were sent on deputation. As we are employees of PDD, so we have been demanding the same arrangement between the PDD and government, according to which regular budgetary provisions had been provided to the department in the annual budget”, an official of department said, adding that due to re...

Ajay Sharma Early Times Report Rajouri, Mar 14: A Junior Engineer of Rural Development Department (RDD) has not been transferred for the past 15-years from Sunderbani sub-division. Sources told Early Times that recently the Director RDD issued transfer orders of many JEs who had not been shifted from their places for the past five years. “But this powerful JE, who ostensibly enjoys the blessings of some senior officials and politicians was not touched,” sources claimed. Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 14: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has accorded approval to the creation of 119 posts in 10 new Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) schools and five nursing colleges, an official spokesperson said on Sunday.
